Department Operations:
Sets goals and objectives for the department and strives to consistently meet them; Establishes and administers an annual operating budget; Oversees sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profitability goals
Sales:
Directs outside parts, wholesale and counter sales efforts; Develops department sales promotions and advertising
Inventory Management :
Maintains a balanced inventory across Service, Body Shop, Wholesale and individual customers; Manages parts inventory turnover and minimizes parts obsolescence
Team Management :
Hires, trains, coaches and motivates all Parts Department team members
Customer Satisfaction :
Promotes a high-quality level of service to all customers•both internal and external•& ensures maximum customer satisfaction
Reporting:
Monitors daily reports such as DOE, DOC and sales productivity Requirements•(3) years of experience managing all day-to-day aspects of an automotive parts department. Goal oriented, self-motivated, well organized with strong attention to detail Effective communication skills. Manage daily interactions with all dealership departments Able to build & maintain strong working relationships with department managers and colleagues. Experienced with CDK and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) a plus.
