OC Reilly is seeking a dynamic, take-charge individual to oversee hospital materials management in Bar Harbor, Maine. Job Summary:
The Materials Manager oversees an efficient materials management operation. Responsibilities include staff oversight, strategic planning, inventory control, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies to support patient care. The manager collaborates closely with hospital leadership, clinical teams, vendors, and finance to maintain cost-effective supply chain operations compliant with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements:
Required Skills:
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Skilled in delegation to ensure efficient performance of direct reports. Strong time management to handle multi-site responsibilities. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, supply chain management, business, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in materials management or supply chain operations. Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control, and procurement.
Working Conditions:
Healthcare environment requiring cross-department collaboration. May involve physical activities such as lifting and moving supplies. Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call work. On-site backup coverage responsibility when needed.
