This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend inventory management, supply chain coordination, and exceptional customer service to ensure seamless operations and satisfied clients. You will oversee parts procurement, inventory control, supplier relationships, and support automotive diagnostics and repair processes, all while fostering a positive experience for our customers and team members alike. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory, including procurement, stocking, and inventory control to optimize availability and reduce waste Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, storage, and equipment repair to maintain a safe and efficient environment Utilize ERP systems, order management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other platforms for accurate data entry, order processing, and supply chain tracking Support diagnostics and repair by providing mechanical knowledge to assist technicians with parts identification and sourcing Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs based on service schedules and customer demand Deliver exceptional customer service by advising clients on parts options, pricing, warranties, and availability while ensuring a smooth purchasing experience Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or small engine service environments with a strong background in inventory management, procurement management, and supply chain coordination Familiarity with engine diagnostics and repair processes. Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving procedures and forklift operation certification Proficiency with ERP systems, order management systems, CMMS software, and other inventory control tools Strong negotiation skills coupled with sourcing expertise to secure competitive pricing from suppliers Mechanical knowledge of outdoor power equipment components and OEM standards to support service advisors and technicians effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about product options and technical details Ability to manage data entry accurately while maintaining organized records of procurement activities and inventory levels Embark on a career that combines leadership in parts management with the satisfaction of delivering top-tier service.
