Materials Manager Department:
Materials Reports to: Director of Materials
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Ensure the stockroom is in compliance with company standards, FAA Regulations and Safety standards. Responsible for OSC inventory and ensuring reporting processes are in place and followed. This includes being responsible for cycle counts execution and completed in a timely fashion. Ensure all OSC Stockroom personnel are up to date on required training. Responsible for OSC Stockroom department processes. Must identify any changes that will enhance departmental process quality and submit changes as necessary in relation to Kalitta Air MX in OSC as well as other Kalitta MX facilities. Maintain adequate stock levels for all expendable and rotable components. Oversee shipping, receiving to/from all maintenance facilities both domestic and international locations. Train and discipline subordinates per company policy and ensure maintenance meets FAA and company standards. Ensure facilities and equipment are kept in operational and professional condition. Perform other duties as directed by the Materials Manager EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
This position requires a high school diploma and requires one to hold a valid drivers license. HAZMAT training is preferred, and Forklift truck experience is required. Aviation experience preferred w/ background in navigating and using Inventory Management databases. Microsoft Office experience is required, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient communication skills are a must.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to create / write routine reports and correspondence.
