Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for material systems and execution for a single business unit with multiple plants. Ability to travel 50% to support Adient JIT facilities is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for material systems and processes for Supply Chain Management teams. Key measure performance, continuous improvement of processes and procedures, compliance to Materials Management Systems Assessment, execute formal systems, provide training and rollout of new material business process. Customer / supplier interaction as required.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Production Control Demand Management Inventory & Warehouse Management Freight/Logistics Customer performance criteria / scores, Supplier Management Electronic Commerce Budgeting, Planning, Financial skills Continuous Improvement Material Flow Problem Solving Initiates cost reduction analysis and executes actions to implement.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. 6 years manufacturing experience. APICS Certification a plus.
