Job Description

The Sample Manager is responsible for managing and executing all sample warehouse activities in support of Sales within the Americas region and our global Engineering sites. The position is essential to the timely preparation of samples using cold and hot cutting methods to accurately represent products cut in a plant environment. The role will involve domestic and international shipments and use of the Delfingen inventory management system to maintain stock levels. In addition, the position will manage the internal samples application for the NCSA region. Minimum 2 years work experience in a warehouse environment within automotive or industrial manufacturing and/or product distribution environments Familiar with
ISO 9001 / TS16949 / IATF 16949
Quality requirements Ability to identify Quality defects Experience with international shipping, export documentation and customs invoice preparation Must be fluent in English Strong knowledge & proficiency in software tools such as Google Suite (gmail, sheets, slides, docs and calendar), Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory management and ordering systems Ability to cut, prepare and package samples according to plant production standards Maintain organized and traceable inventory of materials Analyze inventory levels and forecast replenishment needs through coordination with global Delfingen sites and/or regional Purchasing Ability to prioritize and execute urgent sample requests to support key opportunities Reflects strong ownership and accountability in managing sample operations Strong ability to communicate effectively with international clients and colleagues
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
