Job Details
IDR is seeking a Service Center Lead (Logistics) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Saline, Michigan & Houston, Texas. This onsite role focuses on leading inventory management operations while ensuring accurate, efficient equipment flow across receiving, put away, picking, and shipping. You'll help maintain inventory integrity and drive continuous process improvements in support of customer-focused excellence.
Position Overview for the Service Center Lead (Logistics):
Oversees daily service center operations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and the full scope of projects
Independently leads inventory operations, including accurate receiving, put away, picking, and shipping of equipment
Maintains strict inventory integrity and ensures compliance using the company's inventory management system
Supervises daily on-site activity and maintains facility operations when leadership is not on-site
Provides continuous feedback to leadership on process improvements, warehouse layout optimization, and operational enhancements
Requirements for the Service Center Lead (Logistics):
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of inventory control, or logistics operations
Proven experience in inventory control and service center leadership
Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, audit requirements, and service center optimization strategies
Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with HCAP is a plus
