$70,000-$90,000 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to oversee materials planning, inventory management, production scheduling, and the implementation of lean manufacturing and pull-system processes within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Manage materials planning, inventory levels, work orders, capacity planning, and production schedules to support on-time production and shipping goals. Lead and support pull-system operations and visual inventory management , coordinating priorities with production and department managers. Participate in APQP and daily production planning meetings , monitor production deviations and rejected materials, and help drive continuous improvement. Track key production and materials metrics, support special projects, and utilize data and reporting to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance. Requirements 7-10 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment; blow molding experience preferred. 5+ years of ERP/MRP experience and strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and pull-system principles. Strong analytical, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. Excellent communication and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and collaborate effectively with manufacturing leadership. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred but not required. Experience with OEE and manufacturing performance metrics highly desired. #
