Type:
full-time We are seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead and scale supply chain and manufacturing operations as we transition from R D into commercial production of complex industrial hardware. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone with experience supporting the manufacturing of industrial equipment, such as heat exchangers, blowers, skidded systems, or other complex engineered products. You will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management, negotiate and execute supplier contracts and commercial agreements, oversee critical supply chain relationships, partner with company leadership to manage supply chain risk and cash flow, and develop the strategy and infrastructure needed to deliver products on time, at scale, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic sourcing of components, fabrication, and contract manufacturing. Own supplier relationships from RFQ through qualification, contract negotiation, factory acceptance testing, and on-time delivery. Negotiate agreements with suppliers to achieve the strongest pricing, lead times, payment terms, risk allocation, and downside protection. Build long-term partnerships with suppliers to support Remora's rapid growth. Build a strategy to scale supply chain and manufacturing to meet Remora's ambitious deployment schedule, including make vs. buy, dual sourcing, etc. Develop and implement scalable processes for shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, and quality management. Optimize delivery timing and payment terms to improve capital efficiency and ROIC. Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Legal on DFM, cost, and contracts.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing operations, preferably in mid-sized or rapidly scaling industrial companies Proven experience working with industrial process equipment or hardware systems (e.g., heat exchangers, blowers, skids, electromechanical assemblies) Expertise in supplier sourcing, qualification, procurement, and contract negotiation Strong project management and planning capabilities with a track record of complex, ambitious projects delivered on time and under budget On-Site Daily- Relocation support provided. Must fully relocate.
