As a Lead, Logistics at RXO, you will support segment leadership in driving operational policies, processes, and day-to-day execution across the Managed Transportation team. This role will serve as a key connection between leadership and the planning team, helping ensure consistent execution, operational efficiency, and the highest level of service and accuracy for our customers. What your day-to-day will look like: Support staffing and workload adjustments to maintain consistent service levels and meet customer requirements. Serve as an escalation point for the Operations planning team, helping resolve complex transportation and service issues. Function as a liaison between Operations leadership and the planning team to ensure clear communication, alignment, and execution. Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with the Operations team to implement and sustain changes. Support carrier performance discussions and corrective actions to ensure service expectations are met. Monitor operational performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities requiring leadership attention. Support departmental budget management and help ensure financial compliance. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to planners while reinforcing operational processes and customer expectations. At a minimum, you'll need: 4 years of logistics, transportation, or planning experience. It'd be great if you also have: Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new systems and software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clear, organized, and accurate information to various audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data, processes, policies, and systems. Ability to identify operational trends and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
