Job Description

Position The Supply Chain Manager leads all functions of the Towmaster supply chain, ensuring the reliable flow of materials necessary for complex, engineered-to-order trucks and trailers. This role oversees procurement, inventory control, order fulfillment to support an aggressive production schedule, and shipping. Responsibilities
Lead Warehouse, Traffic, and Purchasing teams, developing metrics and working through the supervisors and leads to meet goals.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize operations and reduce costs.
Work through in house and corporate Purchasing team to manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
Oversee inventory management, including forecasting demand, monitoring inventory levels, and managing stock levels.
Manage logistics and distribution activities, including warehousing, transportation, and order fulfillment.
Identify and implement continuous improvement actions on existing processes, focusing on Lean inventory.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify successes and opportunities, working to implement corrective actions where needed.
Model and maintain safe work practices.
Collaborate with value stream consistently about upcoming jobs in all areas of supply chain.
Manage Paycom functions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
3+ years of leadership experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Experience with ERP products, SAP a plus.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. Benefits
