Job Description:
Responsible for supply chain operations and initiatives including budget, inventory management, and strategy. Oversight of supply chain operations staff utilizing strong team development, staff modeling, career planning, and change management skills. Develops, monitors and maintains performance measures while driving process improvement efforts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Oversees emergency and disaster preparedness response including Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) as needed. Responsible for procedural and surgical case picking, inventory management, and demand planning. Leads, designs, and implements strategies that reduce overall supply chain expense, increase efficiency, and improve department effectiveness. Partners with system clinical effectiveness programs and departments to reduce clinical variation. Principle Responsibilities Leadership and oversight of day-to day-activities Oversight of all aspects of the daily supply chain operations including meeting financial targets, and budgets. Main supply chain contact for site and point of escalation for issue resolution on a 24/7 basis. Site representation for outside vendors. Identifies and implements streamlined processes to reduce errors and improve operational processes to drive continuous improvement. Maintains clinical supply knowledge to support procedural and non-procedural areas. Maintains high customer service levels. Provides expertise and guidance in the areas of inventory control, purchasing, and planning. Provides change management leadership. Manages improvement projects including product acceptance and standardization. Staffing Oversees day-to-day operations of the department, including leadership level staff, in selection, scheduling and staff development/mentoring, performance evaluations, performance management, and task allocation. Builds and develops a high performing, diverse, and engaged team. Responsible for meeting financial targets and implementing an optimal staffing model.
Technology and Inventory Management:
Manages inventory via an enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool, inventory management systems, and automated ordering system. Use analytics and statistical data to make strategic decisions. Oversees demand planning including inventory flow and forecasting strategy.
Compliance and Process Improvement:
Develops and maintain departmental policy and procedures. Oversight of recalls, vendor management and compliance. Develops and maintains inventory control practices. Conducts supply chain audits, including identifying quality issues and implementing process improvement plans. Develops and reviews Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities to maximize operational performance. Strategy and Demand Planning Plays key role in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) emergency management structure. Evaluates site performance and metrics. Utilizes Lean and six sigma tools and techniques to refine, simplify, reduce risk, and eliminate waste. Implements and maintains resiliency program tactics. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3 to 7 years of experience in inventory management including operations and the utilization of an inventory management technology system 3 to 7 years of leadership experience preferably in a union environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, information technology or equivalent experience

Pay Range Pay Range:
$44.64 to $61.76 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
