POSITION SUMMARY
The ReStore Logistics Manager provides direct supervision and daily leadership to ReStore drivers while overseeing donation pickup logistics and donor communication. This role is responsible for scheduling, performance oversight, and operational coordination of all drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and professional donation collections. The Logistics Manager plays a key leadership role in maintaining strong donor relationships and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, donors, and ReStore leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS
Direct Driver Management and Supervision Directly supervise all ReStore drivers; drivers report to the Logistics Manager. Develop and manage daily and weekly pickup and delivery schedules. Assign routes and ensure efficient routing to maximize productivity. Monitor driver performance, punctuality, professionalism, and customer service standards. Provide coaching, guidance, and corrective action when necessary. Conduct regular training with drivers regarding safety, procedures, and expectations. Ensure drivers complete required documentation accurately and timely Promote and enforce safety policies and proper handling procedures. Donor and Partner Relations Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with donors and customers. Ensure consistent, professional communication with donors regarding pickup details and follow-up. Assist the Donor Relations Manager in maintaining partnerships and prospecting new business donors or potential donation sources. Communication and Liaison Duties Serve as liaison between drivers, donors, and ReStore Directors to ensure clear and accurate communication. Maintain ongoing communication with drivers regarding schedules, updates, and changes. Act as backup to the Communications Coordinator and Donor Relations Manager as needed. Call Management and Customer Service Answer and manage all incoming donation-related calls. Resolve donation inquiries directly or route calls to appropriate departments (e.g., Administrative staff or other teams) Provide professional, courteous service to all callers. Backs up the Communications Coordinator answering incoming calls Qualifications 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse supervision, or operations management. Prior experience directly supervising drivers or transportation staff strongly preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent phone communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage schedules, routes, and multiple priorities effectively. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED is required. Previous experience in an office environment is preferred. Complete HFHS training program requirements for your job title.
