Job Description

Your mission Orchestrate an end-to-end supply chain that is reliable, lean, and data-driven across Monroe and its offsite locations—spanning Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, Warehouse Management, Receiving, Sequencing, Shipping, and Inventory Control—while overseeing planning and purchasing for nonproduction materials and services. Where you'll focus Master scheduling and production control that stabilizes the plan and aligns to customer demand. Materials planning with robust SAP master data and disciplined MRP usage. Warehouse, receiving, sequencing, shipping, and distribution logistics that run efficiently and safely. Nonproduction procurement, including services and indirects. Customer service partnership to meet delivery and information-quality requirements. IT collaboration to support supply-chain-related systems in the plant. What success looks like 95% inventory accuracy sustained via cycle-count governance and a semi-annual physical inventory reconciliation program. Reduced inventory days with right-sized safety stocks to absorb demand variability without disrupting operations. $0 expedited inbound and outbound freight through proactive planning and supplier alignment. On-time, just-in-time availability of packaging, raw material, WIP, and components; rapid resolution of critical shortages.
Launch readiness:
new product introductions executed with correct SAP master data, forecast alignment, initial inventory build, and purchase orders in place. Continuous optimization of supply chain processes and cost, reflected in KPI improvements for inventory mgmt., planning, freight, packaging, and Nonproduction materials (Including recyclables). Standards defined, implemented, and improved for consistent, scalable operations. Annual Budget/Plan for Materials, Freight, Packaging, and Nonproduction purchasing developed and controlled to plan. Key responsibilities Lead and mentor materials and logistics personnel; when applicable, select, hire, set expectations, and manage performance. Monitor and report KPIs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement. Ensure efficient and effective incoming, warehousing, and distribution logistics. Maintain an efficient, stable production planning and controlling process. Partner with Customer Service to fulfill plant supply chain requirements (delivery service, information quality). Plan, organize, lead, and control any additional activities required to run the function effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (four-year college or university). 8-10 years of related manufacturing materials management experience focused on procurement, production planning, and inventory control. APICS certification preferred. Strong understanding of ERP systems and operations. Proficiencies Bachelor's Degree Supplier Management Vendor & Supplier Management
