Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Import Manager based in New York, NY. The Import Manager will oversee all aspects of the import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing logistics. Responsibilities include managing import documentation, coordinating shipments, liaising with customs and shipping partners, resolving any issues related to shipments, and maintaining excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the supply chain. Qualifications Proficiency in managing Import and Export procedures and comprehensive knowledge of Import/Export regulations Experience with Ocean shipping and logistics processes Proven ability to handle import documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficiency in relevant software systems and tools used for import/export management Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in logistics or import/export operations is a preffered Strong Customer Service skills, including relationship management and issue resolution
