Job Description

Logistics Manager Trebor Logistics Manager Trebor is a dynamic and growing wholesale paper distributor seeking an aggressive experienced full-time Logistics Manager to work with our CSR's to procure freight rates that can be held for the life of that specific PO. Salary range $55k-65K (including health insurance), send resume to Jburns@trebor.com to schedule an interview. Objectives of this role
  • Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing
  • Acquire rates for our CSR's pursuant to the needs of the specific PO.
  • Maintain awareness of industry and global logistics trends that will benefit company in the marketplace Responsibilities
  • Identifying issues and actions to be taken, if problems arise
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of failures and take corrective actions
  • Report regularly to senior managers about progress, plans, and problems that could affect costs.
  • Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications Required skills and qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in logistics for wholesale distribution.
  • Four or more years of experience in project management or a leadership position
  • Strong systems skills, including proficiency with integrated software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration, with focus on supply-chain management
  • Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including maritime, over-the-road, rail, customs, and warehousing)
