Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the materials management of the Atlantic Health Investment Corporation. Coordinates purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory control of materials. Responsible for safe and proper storage of materials, process intermediates, products and general manufacturing supplies.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs clerical duties associated with materials management. 2. Receives, stocks, and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment. 3. Stores and labels materials in an orderly manner. 4. Drafts reports regarding production progress, inventory levels, and materials costs. Inspects stock items for defects and reports all instances of damage to supervisors. 5. Compares inventory records with physical counts of stock to ensure accuracy, reporting discrepancies when they arise. Participates in managing inventory and biannual inventory counts. 6. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. 7. Assists with cleaning of equipment as needed. 8. Assists other warehouse locations as needed. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics or relevant area. 2. 0-2 years of experience working in Material Handling or relevant area.
