Job Description

The Inventory Manager at The Social Leaf Dispensary manages the establishment's inventory and menu, handling incoming deliveries, monitoring product expirations, tracking movement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing staff evaluations and reviews. Primary duties encompass reconciling state seed-to-sale tracking, conducting physical audits and reporting, and managing vendor coordination.
Core Duties & Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure strict compliance by entering accurate seed-to-sale data into state tracking systems in Metrc and Into our Point of Sale System.
Auditing & Reconciling:
Perform regular cycle counts along with daily and weekly reconciliations to address stock discrepancies. As well as monthly Inventory Counts.
Stock & Vault Control:
Manage incoming shipments, safeguard vault inventory, and restock the sales floor.
Vendor Relations:
Evaluate suppliers, verify physical shipments against incoming manifests, and oversee product returns and waste disposal.
Expirations and Defects:
Oversee the reporting and compliant disposal of defective or expired products.
Qualifications & Requirements Age & Badging:
Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and successfully pass state-mandated fingerprinting and background checks.
Experience:
Requires 2 to 4 years of experience in retail, purchasing, or warehouse inventory management, with prior cannabis industry experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in operating POS systems, seed-to-sale tracking platforms, Metrc, and Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
