The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing the Inventory Department and supporting the company with all tasks and assignments in order to accomplish its goals and the company's goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Add Essential Duties and Responsibilities according to position. Manages the Inventory Department to accomplish its goals and objectives. Works to support other departments within the company and to accomplish company goals. Interacts & communicates with all levels within the company to achieve goals and resolve issues. Works with Purchasing & Engineering on obsolete material, ECO's, vendor, and material issues. Works with planning to resolve inventory issues, work order problems, and bills of material (BOM) errors. Writes, establishes & approves department policies & procedures. Makes recommendations for capital expenses and reviews department operating costs. Coordinate team projects. Establishes themselves as a leader with proven abilities and skills. Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies. Demonstrated ability to educate, train and motivate employees, managing conflict and using behavior modification techniques. Desired Qualifications Minimum 10 years work related experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. An analytical mind with strong attention to detail. Preferred Major Supply Chain Management Other Minimum Years of Experience 5-10 years Language Skills Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English.
