Full Job Description Overview:
The Logistics Supervisor oversees all aspects of the department to ensure the successful completion of daily objectives. This role works closely with the Logistics Manager and directly with vendors and suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels across all supply areas. The Logistics Supervisor operates with a high degree of independence and is responsible for ensuring efficiency, accountability, and quality within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs and delegates tasks during peak deployment hours while providing hands-on support as needed. Communicates effectively with leads and team members to ensure fair and efficient task distribution and timely completion of daily objectives. Conducts daily inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs of equipment; coordinates outsourced repairs with approved vendors. Performs regular audits of equipment and investigates any missing or unaccounted-for assets. Coordinates the setup of new ambulances, including arranging inspections with SNHD, securing deployment clearance, and managing DMV registration. Oversees annual vehicle registration and ensures updated registration and insurance documents are placed in each vehicle. Places orders with approved vendors and maintains appropriate inventory levels. Manages inventory control processes, including tracking usage trends, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining security of stock. Organizes and labels shelving to maximize efficiency and ensure proper placement of all supplies. Distributes inventory and materials to support ambulance operations. Assists with records management, ensuring accurate documentation of items received, repaired, distributed, transferred, or disposed of. Maintains cost summaries and supports depreciation and replacement tracking. Maintains an updated roster of all team members via Google Sheets; manages scheduling adjustments in the event of call-outs. Provides oversight of training processes by monitoring trainer and trainee progress, offering support as needed, and ensuring competency verification before advancement. Attends management meetings as required to report on departmental updates. Performs all duties associated with Supply Technician, Lead, or Trainer roles, as needed. Completes other responsibilities as assigned by the Logistics Manager
