Director of Bakery & Warehouse Auburn, NY Position Summary The Director of Bakery & Warehouse will lead daily operations and drive long-term strategy for bakery production, distribution, and grocery warehouse functions. This role focuses on operational excellence by optimizing nightly bake cycles, streamlining warehouse workflows, and ensuring efficient, reliable store deliveries—while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cost control. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Bakery Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure strong operational execution Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability measures Foster a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement Partner with the Warehouse Manager to optimize layout, workflow, and productivity Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, and distribution Manage Class A drivers responsible for delivering grocery products to retail locations Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards Monitor routing, delivery schedules, and service levels to stores Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in food production, distribution, warehouse operations, or logistics Proven experience managing multi-functional teams Strong background in transportation and delivery operations preferred Experience with routing, logistics, and fleet management Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation Paid sick leave Salary range: $80,000-$100,000
