Essential Job Functions:
Supervise, motivate, and evaluate department personnel. Insure personnel training meets company guidelines and is conducted in a timely manner. Schedule shipments of finished products insuring all meet scheduled dock times for on-time delivery to customer. Inventory and audit all existing materials and finished goods to insure inventory turnover is being maintained and physical counts match computer system. Oversee processes and security to insure flow of materials meets delivery to manufacturing processes. Insures maintenance of equipment is being performed and that all equipment is kept in safe operating condition. Review and/or investigate all incidents involving Material Department personnel. Other duties as assigned by the Material Control Manager. Qualifications -
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent. Good verbal and written communication skills. Minimum two years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of EDI, DDL, and bar-coding systems. PC skills, customer packaging/labeling requirements.
