About the Role The ICQA Lead is responsible for leading inventory control, quality assurance, and accuracy initiatives within our 3PL e-commerce distribution center. This role oversees a team of warehouse associates while ensuring inventory records, locations, orders, and warehouse processes remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with company and customer standards.Responsibilities :
Maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and quality. Lead daily startup meetings, safety huddles, and productivity planning as needed. Support customer inventory requirements and ensure processes are audit-ready. Partner with Operations leadership to address recurring inventory and quality issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and quality performance. Train associates on inventory control procedures, quality standards, WMS processes, and company SOPs. Maintain accurate documentation of inventory adjustments, audits, cycle counts, and corrective actions. Review system and physical inventory data to identify errors, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, located, and recorded within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Coordinate with Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping teams to resolve inventory and process issues. Research inventory variances and perform root-cause analysis to determine the source of discrepancies. Conduct cycle counts, location audits, and physical inventory checks to identify discrepancies. Monitor inventory accuracy across products, locations, quantities, and system records. Supervise and coach warehouse associates responsible for inventory control and quality processes. Lead daily ICQA activities, including inventory accuracy, cycle counts, audits, and quality checks.Qualifications :
Powered industrial equipment experience preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced 3PL e-commerce environment. Ability to analyze data and identify trends that impact inventory accuracy and operational performance. Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting tools. Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking systems. Experience identifying inventory discrepancies and performing root-cause analysis. Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, location control, order accuracy, and warehouse processes. Demonstrated experience with inventory control, cycle counting, quality assurance, or warehouse auditing. 2-5 years of leadership experience in a 3PL, e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution environment.
