Job Description
Job Overview We are a fast growing dental lab, seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee our Shipping and receiving operations and ensure the efficient case management processes. As a dental lab we are in the making of dental restorations like crown , bridges, implant restoration and dentures. We work with are growing list of dentist and are hiring someone who can take care of our logistic team responsible for picking up patient cases and delivering to them on time. We consider ourselves as an auxiliary component of the healthcare industry and hence the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and ability to work in an environment demanding attention to details. Individual is responsible to organize pickup and delivery from our customers to ensure a most efficient workflow. Apart from managing our own fleet of drivers, cars, we also collaborate with local delivery services and UPS. Its important for the individual to have good communication skills and be a liaison between the customer service team and the customers. Should be comfortable with computers , making routes and working with our external logistics partners. Training to adapt to the dental lab environment will be provided. Duties Supervise daily logistic operations, receiving incoming patient cases, sanitizing, allocating it to the right case pan. Understand different type of cases and pack and set driver routes. Manage fleet of cars and drivers. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the logistics framework. Train, mentor, and evaluate logistics staff to foster a high-performing team culture. Qualifications Experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a supervisory role. Good with computers and adapting to newer technique for efficient workflow. Must possess a driving license with good track record. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient cases.
