Job Description
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives. Optimize end-to-end product flow from supplier to customer to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Leverage data and analytics to inform purchasing, stocking, and fulfillment strategies. Lead cross-functional planning with sales, finance, and branch operations to balance working capital with customer demand. Direct the company's inventory management strategy, ensuring optimal stock levels, turns, and fill rates across all distribution and branch locations. Oversee purchasing operations to ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and quality standards. Implement demand forecasting tools and processes to minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Establish and monitor key inventory performance metrics (e.g., fill rate, days on hand, turns, obsolescence). Coordinate with finance to manage working capital and cash flow tied to inventory investment. Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to ensure consistent supply, favorable pricing, and product innovation. Lead supplier negotiations for terms, rebates, freight programs, and service levels. Evaluate supplier performance using scorecards and regular business reviews. Collaborate with key vendors on joint growth initiatives, co-marketing opportunities, and supply chain efficiency improvements. Lead operations of two company distribution centers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and service excellence. Oversee warehouse management systems (WMS), order fulfillment processes, and logistics coordination. Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality. Implement best practices in layout design, storage optimization, and automation/technology. Develop DC leadership teams to ensure high performance, accountability, and engagement. Oversee transportation and fleet operations to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery performance. Manage route optimization, freight cost control, and customer delivery experience. Evaluate third-party logistics (3PL) or private fleet strategies for performance and scalability. Ensure DOT and safety compliance across all logistics operations. Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain leadership team across procurement, logistics, and distribution. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability. Promote collaboration between supply chain, branch operations, and sales teams. Develop and communicate clear KPIs and performance scorecards using the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework. Required forSuccess:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management. Proven success managing multi-site distribution operations for a company with $300M+ in annual revenue. Strong background in inventory management, purchasing, and supplier negotiations. Experience implementing WMS, ERP, or demand planning systems. Demonstrated track record of improving cost efficiency, service levels, and working capital performance. Experience leading through growth, acquisitions, or supply chain transformation initiatives. Attributes Required forSuccess:

$180,000 - $220,000Annual Incentive Bonus:
25%-35% of base, tied to performance metrics (inventory turns, service levels, freight cost, working capital, etc.)On-Target Total Compensation:
