We have an immediate need for an experienced Parts Manager at our Natrona Heights Ford parts department. Responsibilities work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff. direct and schedule the activities of all parts department team members. Monitor Parts Department Team member payroll. handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines. Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence. Direct outside parts and counter sales efforts. Input inventory control information. Monitor for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees. Assist in answering dealership phones with customers. Ensure that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made. Monitor the percentage markup on parts obtained locally. ensure that all parts are properly tagged to ensure that the dealership is recovering full credit from the factory. Assist in the collection of past - due accounts. other duties as assigned by the Parts & Service Director. Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent 2+ years of parts manager experience preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Tech savvy and comfortable with computers Previous experience in an automotive parts department required Great work ethic and ability to work on a team Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Current and valid driver's license We welcome all replies in strict confidence.
