In-Person Competitive Salary 2 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Materials Manager Job Summary Ricochet Gear seeks a hands-on Materials Manager to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials supporting the manufacture of protective gear and sewn products. This position owns inventory planning, purchase order execution, ERP transactions, inventory accuracy, and receiving operations while partnering closely with Production, Operations, and Finance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain in-stock inventory levels for raw materials, components, packaging, and operating supplies. Plan material requirements and monitor safety stock, reorder points, and lead times. Create, issue, track, and manage purchase orders through receipt and reconciliation. Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments. Serve as a key user and champion of the company ERP system. Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, receiving, and supplier master data. Manage daily receiving activities and supervise one direct report. Oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory adjustments. Resolve supplier shipping discrepancies, shortages, and routine quality issues. Develop inventory and purchasing reports to support operational decision-making. Drive continuous improvement in inventory control and ERP utilization. Key Performance Indicators Inventory Accuracy = 98% On-Time Material Availability = 98% Stock-Out Rate < 2% Supplier On-Time Delivery = 95% Receiving Accuracy = 99% Receiving transactions completed within 24 hours 100% scheduled cycle count completion ERP data accuracy and process compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred) Proven experience in inventory control and purchasing or procurement Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the company Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and leadership skills Work Environment Office and warehouse environment May require occasional travel to suppliers or distribution centers Phila BST Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
