Job Title:
Inventory and Receiving Manager
LOCATION

POSITION OBJECTIVE
Direct receiving operations and inventory control for the warehouse.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Receiving:
  • Oversee efficient receipt, storage, bin locating, and client communications.
  • Overseeing the verify products and match packing slips to PO using item number and vendor SKUs, descriptions, and quantities.
  • Inspect boxes for damage and communicate with internal and external (customer, carriers) parties.
  • Use scan gun to log receipts and create product labels.
  • Handle all internal warehouse transfers.
  • Stage product to be put away in racks/bins/back stock.
  • Put away inventory and use scan gun to accurately allocate to location.
Inventory:
  • Perform cycle counts using scan gun/printed reports to ensure continuing inventory accuracy.
  • Research inventory discrepancies as they arise and resolve.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to management.
  • Ability to communicate with customers regarding receiving/inventory questions/problems.
  • Ability to create reports detailing discrepancies.
  • Inventory Control for the entire warehouse.
  • Managing the daily counting and verification of inventory.
  • Drive and meet all designed metrics and KPIs for staff and department. Work to meet all pre-defined accuracy thresholds for stock on hand. Plan and implement a new audit cycle for inventory in given department. Establish inventory transfer and bin management protocols with Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensuring all safety protocols are met within standard operating procedures.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
    Licenses:
    Driver's (Required)
    • Forklift, Aerial/Scissor Certification
    QUALIFICATIONS
    3+ years experience required (Warehouse Inventory Control) Computer Applications and specific Warehouse software, 1 year (Required) Fulfillment, 3PL, Logistics, Supply Chain experience is greatly preferred. Must have excellent problem-solving skills and think critically Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts as required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to use Computer Applications and specific Warehouse software. Must have working knowledge of
    OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA
    regulations.

    POSITION OVERVIEW
    Executive Employees:
    The position's primary duty is managing the enterprise or managing a customarily recognized department or subdivision of the enterprise. The position must customarily and regularly direct the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent; and the employee must have the authority to hire or fire other employees OR the employee's suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees is given particular weight.
    Pay:
    $25.35 - $30.53 per hour
