  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts within our service center.
The ideal candidate will possess strong supply chain management skills, familiarity with automotive diagnostics, and proficiency with inventory control. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of parts supply, supporting automotive service and repair teams, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The Parts Manager will also assist with local pick up / delivery of parts and equipment. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory, including ordering, stocking, and distribution to ensure availability for automotive repairs and services. Oversee supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, terms, and sourcing strategies to optimize costs and quality. Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving, and equipment repair to maintain operational efficiency. Monitor inventory levels using automotive diagnostics knowledge to forecast demand accurately and prevent shortages or overstocking. Collaborate with automotive service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records related to pricing, sourcing, procurement activities, and inventory movements. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, OEM parts sourcing, and maintenance shop operations. Hands-on experience with warehouse management including forklift operation and shipping & receiving procedures. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is a plus. Excellent negotiation skills for supplier management and procurement activities. Ability to analyze demand planning data to optimize inventory levels effectively. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. CDL class A
