Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to lead our parts department. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts, ensuring seamless operations that support our dealership's service and repair teams. Duties Manage the entire parts department, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and shipping & receiving operations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), suppliers, and logistics providers to secure quality parts at competitive prices. Oversee demand planning and pricing strategies to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. Coordinate with automotive service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs, diagnostics, and auto body work. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels, perform data entry accurately, and enforce inventory control procedures. Lead procurement management efforts by sourcing parts efficiently, negotiating with suppliers for favorable terms, and managing logistics for shipping & receiving. Support equipment repair projects by providing mechanical knowledge and sourcing necessary components swiftly. Ensure compliance with safety standards. Foster excellent customer service by addressing internal stakeholder needs promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience in dealership parts management or automotive supply chain roles with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and automotive service operations. Knowledge of inventory management systems/DMS providers within dealerships. Demonstrated ability in procurement management, sourcing strategies, negotiation skills, and supplier relationship building. Hands-on mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair or auto body repair is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, demand planning, and inventory control processes. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
