Parts Manager - Service Center Division (SCD) Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a results-driven Parts Manager to lead warehouse operations and supply chain activities within our Service Center Division. This role is responsible for managing internal warehouse operations and third-party logistics partners while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and performance aligned with customer commitments, cost objectives, and safety standards. This is a key leadership role for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about operational excellence, inventory management, and team development.

What You'll Do:

Warehouse & Supply Chain Leadership Oversee all warehouse operations and manage third-party warehouse vendors to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and delivery performance. Lead daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety goals are consistently achieved. Evaluate warehouse and vendor performance, track KPIs, and implement improvements to meet operational targets. Inventory, Forecasting & Procurement Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and annual physical inventories. Own parts demand forecasting processes, including setting standards, assumptions, and performance metrics. Translate service and business needs into effective inventory and forecasting strategies. Oversee sourcing and procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing, lead times, and delivery terms. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement Implement and promote lean principles across warehouse operations to improve throughput, quality, and safety. Develop, maintain, and enhance warehouse processes and procedures. Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, streamline operations, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Team Leadership & Development Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff in alignment with company policies and procedures. Conduct performance reviews and monitor attendance, safety, and quality metrics. Foster a positive work environment focused on safety, accountability, and continuous learning. Financial & Administrative Oversight Assist in preparing and managing department budgets, staffing plans, and capital expenditures. Monitor operational expenses, including recycling and waste management costs. Support reporting efforts, including weekly and monthly operational and performance metrics. Safety & Compliance Ensure all safety procedures are followed and conduct investigations for workplace incidents. Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and hourly wage program requirements.

What You Bring:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 7 years of warehouse or supply chain experience. At least 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Skills & Expertise:

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes. Experience managing third-party logistics or warehouse vendors. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Why MEPPI?
