Position Summary As an Inventory Supervisor , you'll be a hands-on leader at the center of daily warehouse operations. You'll guide associates, ensure inventory moves safely and accurately, and help deliver the high-quality service our retail partners and customers expect. What You'll Do Operational & Team Leadership Supervise day-to-day receiving or shipping operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety standards are met. Lead and support associates through coaching, performance feedback, and accountability. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of new and existing associates. Monitor daily staffing levels and adjust assignments to align with workload and operational needs. Verify labor management assignments and oversee time and attendance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Transportation, Inventory Management, and other campus departments to ensure smooth and timely product flow. Work with service providers and unloading partners to ensure staffing levels and safety standards support campus operations. Communicate operational updates that may impact other departments or shifts. Performance, Safety & Compliance Champion compliance with company standards for accuracy, productivity, and workplace safety. Lead departmental meetings to align associates on goals, priorities, and expectations. Support department operational and budget goals through effective planning and execution. Provide accurate reporting and updates to campus leadership. Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and cost efficiency. Recommend and help implement changes that improve workflow and reduce waste. Provide leadership on assigned projects or operational tasks. What You'll Bring Minimum Qualifications Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related tools (RF, voice selection) Familiarity with distribution or warehouse operations Basic understanding of business and financial reporting Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with the ability to complete required documentation Ability to align associates with departmental and business goals Flexibility to work required schedules, including varied shifts Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -5°F to 90°F+ for extended periods Ability to work in a warehouse environment with concrete floors and powered industrial equipment Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers What Makes You Stand Out 1-3 years of distribution or warehouse experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Why This Role Matters As an Inventory Supervisor, you'll directly impact daily operations, associate engagement, and customer satisfaction.
