CHASSIS MANAGER
ASSISTANT- On Site Position Waycross GA Sherrod Customs is seeking an organized, high-energy Chassis Manager Assistant to join our team in Waycross, GA . In this critical role, you will assist the Chassis Manager in the administrative role for our vehicle logistics, handling everything from initial factory ordering, to matching chassis to order, to scheduling for production.

Experience Core Responsibilities Chassis Procurement :
Order raw vehicle chassis directly from major OEMs (Ford, GM, RAM) based on sales demand.
Logistics Tracking :
Monitor and track OEM production statuses to accurately forecast incoming inventory timelines.
Vehicle Check-In :
Physically receive and inspect arriving trucks from transport carriers.
Lot Management :
Organizing chassis in lot by manufacturer and color, keeping lot rows accessible.
Damage Claims :
Document transit issues and submit formal transportation claims to carriers for vehicle damage.
Good Documentation Practice :
Organize, review, and file manufacturer invoices to maintain accurate billing records.
Requirements Experience :
2+ years in automotive dealership operations, fleet logistics, manufacturing administration or dealership new car inventory management.
OEM Systems :
Familiarity with manufacturer ordering and tracking portals (e.g., Ford
WBDO, GM
GlobalConnect, RAM DealerConnect) preferred.
Skills :
Elite organizational skills, strong data entry precision, and professional communication for vendor relations. Ability to learn our internal ERP systems.
Detail-Oriented :
Ability to spot minor vehicle damages and maintain accurate vehicle records.
Physical :
Ability to work in both an office setting and outdoor lot environments to check in trucks.
