Job Description

Maintains and improves receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Maintains and improves inventory accuracy by conducting physical counts; reconciling with ERP system. Maintains and improves physical condition, organization, and cleanliness of warehouse environment to include employee workstations. Completes warehouse operational requirements by assigning employee tasks to meet shipping schedule. Follows up on work results. Maintains and improves warehouse staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains and improves excellent warehouse results through employee coaching, counseling, regular appraisal of job results, and disciplinary action. Manages and executes annual inventory and stock tacking according to company guidelines. Optimizes shipping and packaging techniques for our solutions and components. Working closely together with our distributors, suppliers and logistic companies to optimize logistics. Support supply chain for logistics as well as with import processes. Attends technical and product training as required. Candidate will report to the Director of Operations. Requirements Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Warehouse/Logistics management. Takes ownership of areas of responsibility. Outstanding work ethic and unquestionable integrity. Thrives in fast paced, constantly changing environment. Able to lead, motivate, and guide team of direct reports. Familiar with common warehouse, shipping and logistics requirements, procedures, and terminologies. Inventory control experience. Analytical skills and a business focused approach. Profound knowledge of the metric system. Communicating and Teamwork skills. Intercultural skills.
