Job Description
Materials Handling Technician (Mon to Fri, 7:30am to 4pm) - Angleton Danbury Campus Materials Management
- Angleton, Texas, United States

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent, no experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the role may be considered for this position.
Required:
- + Valid driver's license. + Motor Vehicle Safety Course must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Associate's Degree. + Two years with supply and/or distribution and/or receiving.
Job Summary:
- Supports all aspects of the UTMB Supply Chain Management Logistics Division. Performs basic clerical and manual tasks involved in the verification, receipt, storage, issuance, and delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment (medical/surgical & non-medical/surgical).
Job Duties:
- + Ensures accuracy of the inventory within the Materials Management Warehouse, the Hospital Materials Management storeroom(s), and/or in unit supply rooms (PAR locations / Point of Use technology).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- + Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with the staff, management, and customers. + Ability to use a computer, both desktop and handheld. + Manual dexterity and memory are critical to this function. + Requires frequent bending, standing, and walking.
