Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Administrator to support inventory accuracy, process improvement, and operational efficiency within our warehouse environment. This role is responsible for identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, supporting transaction and material loss investigations, and providing administrative oversight for Point of Use (POU) inventory. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance system and process performance, and support cross-functional collaboration. This position works closely with the Odoo systems team, Warehouse and Inventory teams, and Shop leadership to improve workflows, strengthen inventory control, and ensure operational alignment. Key Responsibilities Analyze inventory discrepancies, in-plant transactions, and material losses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Support and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. Provide administrative support and oversight for POU (Point of Use) inventory, including tracking, replenishment validation, and process compliance. Collaborate with the Odoo team to develop, improve, and implement system-driven inventory processes and solutions. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including development of work instructions, process standardization, and team training. Partner with cross-functional teams to support investigations, resolve issues, and drive operational alignment. Track, analyze, and report inventory KPIs to measure performance, identify trends, and drive improvements. Build and maintain tools, reports, and dashboards to enhance inventory visibility and operational efficiency. Support team engagement by providing data-driven insights and contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support conclusions using data Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Strong sense of urgency; able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook 4+ years of inventory management experience in a warehouse environment (or equivalent) Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA or BS) or equivalent experience Excellent project management and problem-solving skills Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including: Lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds Standing for extended periods Crouching, bending, and reaching Desired Qualifications Experience in the aerospace industry Familiarity with Odoo ERP/MRP systems Knowledge of ITAR compliance Experience working in an AS9100-certified environment Firefly offers outstanding benefits for our employees, including generous health, dental and vision plans with low plan deductibles, parental leave, educational reimbursement, short term disability, pet Insurance, and flexible PTO options.
