is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Overview The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory operations and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse and production environment. This position ensures materials are available to support uninterrupted production while maintaining an organized inventory system and orderly warehouse. The Inventory Manager supervises the Parts Team , manages inventory processes, and evaluates inventory systems and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and material flow. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and components are delivered to production in a timely manner and that inventory practices align with operational and quality requirements. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager . Responsibilities for
Inventory Manager:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: Manages inventory to record all deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. Ensure that the Production Department has the required items to avoid interruption. Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. Ensure inventory accuracy and improve turns. Resolve inconsistencies with inventory and improve processes as needed. Oversee the Parts team. Ensure cycle counts are completed with root cause analysis of material variances Meet agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications for
Inventory Manager:
Minimum of three years of experience managing an Inventory Department or Parts Warehouse Lean Application experience and understand ISO principles Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ERP system Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to interact and support other departments in a professional manner. Working Conditions This position operates in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise levels, weather changes, dust, fumes, and airborne particles (within OSHA permissible limits). The role requires working around moving equipment, machinery, and production tools. Safety training and PPE are provided in accordance with OSHA and company standards. Physical Requirements The physical demands listed are representative of those required to successfully perform this job with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs . as needed. Ability to handle tools, materials, and mechanical components. Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain manual dexterity. Ability to work in varying temperatures and around machinery.
