At Algas-SDI , the Materials Manager leads the inbound and internal material flow operations that keep production moving efficiently and accurately. This role is responsible for overseeing Receiving, Incoming Inspection, Put-Away, Picking, and Material Handling while ensuring materials move from dock to stock to point-of-use with speed, reliability, and accuracy. You will lead a growing team and drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing practices, inventory accuracy improvements, standardized work, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Planning, Production, and Quality teams. What you'll do Material Flow & Operations Leadership Lead and develop Receiving, Incoming Inspection, and Material Handling teams to achieve daily throughput and operational goals Own the dock-to-stock process, including receiving accuracy, inspection flow, put-away speed, and inventory location integrity Ensure material movement processes support production schedules and customer demand Inventory & Material Management Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions Improve material handling processes including picking, kitting, staging, and point-of-use delivery Monitor and improve material flow performance metrics including pick accuracy and delivery timeliness Support inventory control initiatives that improve inventory turns and operational performance Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Implement Lean Manufacturing practices including standardized work, visual controls, 5S, and process improvements Identify and execute opportunities to improve throughput, reduce waste, and eliminate material shortages Support

requirements through structured processes and operational discipline Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Planning to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules Collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve supplier delivery issues, packaging defects, and documentation discrepancies Work closely with Quality to ensure incoming inspections are completed accurately and on time Team Development & Leadership Develop a promotable team through coaching, training, mentorship, and performance management Lead by example in safety, communication, and operational execution What makes you a great fit Minimum of five (5) years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, manufacturing logistics, or related environments Experience leading teams in receiving, inspection, warehouse, or material handling operations Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory control, and material flow processes Ability to implement standardized work, visual controls, and management systems aligned with
