Full Job Description Role Definition:

As part of our Operations Circle, your role will be to steward an efficient, transparent, and responsive supply chain ecosystem to ensure we deliver on ANW's promise of exceptional products and strong partnerships. Key Areas of Responsibility In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Portfolio Stewards, Sales, and Operations to anticipate product needs, ensure financial efficiency, and align inventory decisions with our shared mission and market realities.
  • Apply data-driven insights in leveraging sales trends, inventory metrics, seasonal analysis, initiate and track vendor purchase orders, internal transfers, and pricing adjustments.
  • Take stewardship of prompt and regular communication with carriers, negotiation of rates and conformance with lead time and cost per case/route standards.
  • Engage openly with colleagues affected by supply chain shifts, using our Advice Process and milestone meetings to co-create solutions, clarify needs, and foster collective learning.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and compliance requirements. Including Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) processes and TTB documentation while advocating for best practices and timely, accurate filings.
  • Proactively communicate key updates (pricing, availability, ETAs) to the team, using transparent systems and documentation for shared situational awareness.
  • Drive continual improvement while identifying and implementing process innovations, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
  • Respond to operational issues and discrepancies with a spirit of curiosity, accountability, and improvement, leveraging peer feedback and mentorship as resources.

Experience:
Analytical, process-driven background in supply chain or operations. Experience in wine, spirits, or regulated consumer goods preferred.
Skills:
Advanced skills with data management tools (e.g., Excel, ERP/CRM systems), a systems-thinking approach, and attention to detail.
Adaptability:
Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and remain effective during change or ambiguity.
Collaboration:
Willingness to participate in milestone meetings, contribute ideas, seek advice, and offer/receive mentorship within and across teams.
Integrity:
Uphold transparency, honesty, and fairness in reporting and communication.
