Job Description

The Materials Management Clerk is responsible for clerical tasks, inventory control, ordering, receiving, stocking, and assisting with the delivery of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Demonstrate proficiency in typing, 10-ky keyboard/calculator for data entry and record keeping. Compose accurate business correspondence related to purchasing. Maintain organized filing systems for purchasing and inventory documentation. Assist with ordering, stocking & rotating merchandise stock items as needed. Review expired products and remove them from the shelves as needed. Match packing slips with delivered products and ensure the accuracy of items received. Enter inventory data (e.g., lot/serial numbers, expiration dates) into the system. Identify chargeable items to be delivered to patient care areas. Fill and deliver requisitions from each department as requested. Use Microsoft Dynamics GP for creating and editing purchase orders and processing invoices. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with staff, patients, and suppliers. Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure efficient inventory and supply management. Follow safety protocols and report any safety hazards or concerns. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards.
