They are looking for a Materials Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry. This position is located in West Virginia, with a low cost of living and acess to beautiful country living (mountains, lakes!) Materials Manager Drive Innovation. Lead Transformation. Are you a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives on managing all aspects of materials flow and maintaining accuracy and control of inventories, transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, receiving and shipping to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled on time. What You'll Do Manage, control and lead the operations, activities and personnel engaged in the Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Receiving, Shipping, Materials Handling and Inventory Control. Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures necessary to ensure effective execution of material logistics functions. Maintain inventory accuracy through accurate inventory cycle counts, control systems and corrective actions. Assure vendor releases are timely and accurate Improve in-plant material handling and storage systems. Develop and maintain TS-ISO procedures for Materials department. Implement and ensure the use of SAP system. Understand and comply with all OSHA, Safety and PPE requirements. Establishes and supervises production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules. ________________________________________ What We're Looking For We want a bold, experienced professional who is not just managing logistics, but transforming it. Education & Experience o Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). o Experience in material control and production scheduling in the automotive industry. o Leading material control teams directly. o SAP is a must. o
APICS CPIM
certification strongly desired.
