Huntington, WV Apply Description S&S Firestone, Inc . is one of the largest independent tire distributors in the U.S., with over 1 million square feet of inventory. S&S Tire has over 550 employees across 11 Southeastern states, with the business focusing on three business sectors: wholesale, commercial, and retread. S&S Firestone, Inc. is now searching for an experienced Operations Manager to work in our Galax Commercial Center. Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation, inventory, and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation, inventory, and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations. Oversee day-to-day operational functions, daily business reconciliation, cash drawer, cash, and credit card transactions. Plan and oversee delivery routes and driver assignments and activities. Oversee drivers' daily paperwork; reconcile invoices and payments to routes and customer accounts. Assist in the collection of past-due balances on customer accounts. Oversee and direct warehouse employees on a daily basis to ensure inventory is received correctly and pulled correctly for orders going out to customers. Enter inventory received into the inventory system Assist with and coordinate cycle counts of inventory as required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School or equivalent

Experience:

Five years of related experience

Computer Skills:
