This executive leadership role will oversee a substantial fleet operation while driving efficiency, service performance, and continuous improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead transportation, logistics, and fleet operations across multiple locations. Oversee 200+ transportation assets, including 130+ power units and 70+ trailers. Manage fleet purchasing, leasing, maintenance, and vendor negotiations. Develop staffing, capacity, and transportation strategies to support growth. Track and improve KPIs related to safety, service, efficiency, and cost. Ensure DOT, FMCSA, and regulatory compliance. Partner with operational leaders to drive performance and best practices. Lead, mentor, and develop transportation managers, fleet personnel, and driver teams. Qualifications 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or fleet leadership experience. Experience managing large fleet operations with 100+ power units. Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, safety, and compliance regulations. Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a service-driven environment. Experience with transportation planning, fleet operations, budgeting, and capacity planning. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Preferred Background Multi-site transportation leadership experience. Experience leading drivers, dispatch, maintenance, and transportation management teams. Background in industrial services, manufacturing, agriculture, food production, sanitation, or other fleet-intensive industries. Why Join?
