Terminal Agent

We are a privately held company with a primary focus on the transportation of box trucks, walk-in style delivery trucks, travel trailers, and mobile homes throughout the United States and Canada. Our company has experienced steady growth over the past five years, both organically and through acquisitions. As a well-established leader in the transportation industry, we are seeking a dependable and professional Terminal Agent to manage our Alabama Terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination:

Dispatching trucks for the Mobile Home and Mobile Office Division.

Oversized and Permitted Loads:

Handling and coordinating oversized and permitted loads.

Driver Recruitment:

Recruiting potential drivers and managing relationships.

Customer & Contractor Relations:

Fielding calls and addressing concerns from customers and contractors.

Driver Safety Training:

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Accounts Receivable:

Managing invoicing and collections.

DOT Compliance:

Ensuring drivers meet DOT qualifications.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required; college degree preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in managing and dispatching is strongly preferred Job is located in The Double Springs, Addison, Boaz area.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
