Job Description

ThinkCulinary - Logistics & Transportation Coordinator Here at ThinkCulinary, we are dedicated to ensuring that every product we handle meets the highest standards of safety, quality, & care. Our team plays a vital role in protecting the integrity of the food supply chain—specializing in premium proteins, and other high-end proteins—and we take pride in doing it right, every time. As the Logistics & Transportation Coordinator, you will be the architect of our product's journey from international ports to our customers' doorsteps. Operating out of our facility in Los Angeles, you will ensure our premium inventory is tracked with surgical precision. Your expertise in managing both inbound international freight and outbound retail fulfillment will directly impact our ability to deliver excellence at scale.
Job Duties International Coordination:
Manage inbound shipments from port to warehouse for our collection of international suppliers
Outbound Logistics:
Direct outbound operations, including scheduling LTL carriers, domestic air freight, and our growing B2C retail fulfillment via FedEx.
Fleet Oversight:
Supervise and dispatch the company driver, optimizing local delivery routes and maintaining the efficiency of our commercial transport fleet.
Integrated Systems Use:
Utilize our ERP system daily to track inventory movements, ensuring real-time data integrity and seamless synchronization with
Team Communications Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with warehouse and office management to synchronize receiving schedules and resolve shipment discrepancies immediately.
Operational Agility:
Maintain a "boots on the ground" presence by assisting with essential warehouse tasks during peak windows, including inventory cycle counts, label verification, and assisting with the staging of high-value shipments.
Experience Professional Background:
3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, ideally within a food-grade or temperature-controlled environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Daily operational experience with ERP Software and Microsoft 365 (specifically Excel automation/macros).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with
USDA/FDA
import regulations and international shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and FSVP requirements.
Transportation Management:
Proven experience managing third-party carrier relationships (LTL, FedEx, Air Freight) and directing internal transport personnel.
Analytical Rigor:
Strong analytical skills with a high commitment to data integrity and a meticulous attention to detail.
Industry Interest:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
