Full Job Description Overview:
MPG & Company is looking to add a qualified Traffic Signal Foreman to our team. We are an established company based out of Largo, FL with a long-standing reputation for doing quality work throughout FDOT's District 7. If you are a driven, self - motivated individual looking for a new opportunity with a growing company, then we would love to hear from you. Required Qualifications - Minimum requirements for the position- Must be able to install all types of signalized intersections (Span and Mast Arm) from the ground up and be familiar with all necessary equipment to build a functioning intersection (Boom trucks, bucket trucks, mini excavators etc.)
- Must be able to read and comprehend FDOT plans as it pertains to building a signalized intersection to include layout of signals on mast arms and layout of disconnects and signals on span intersections.
- Must be able to efficiently run and delegate tasks to a crew to accomplish the task at hand.
- Valid Florida Driver's License Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in programming controllers and various types of vehicle detection.
- Knowledgeable in wiring controller cabinets
- Proficient in troubleshooting field, cabinet and controller issues.
- IMSA Level II Signal Tech or higher
- CDL Class A
- NCCCO Crane Certification
- Experience in street lighting and roadway signs a plus Compensation and Benefits Pay will depend on experience and certifications.
