Requirements:

3+ years diesel or fleet experience required (diesel mechanic background strongly preferred) Operational knowledge of gas and diesel equipment and tools Fabricating and welding skills Valid driver's license Must pass drug test and background check Strong attention to safety, detail, and dependability

Preferred Skills:

6-10 years of mechanic experience CDL license (a plus) Previous fleet maintenance or fleet management experience Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain organized vehicle records Computer skills and working knowledge of

Core Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment Diagnose and repair diesel and gas-powered engines, systems, and components Complete repairs and modifications to improve fleet performance and reliability Conduct daily vehicle inspections to catch issues early and minimize equipment downtime Maintain proper parts inventory, ordering, and shop organization Maintain organized vehicle service records and inspection documentation Support a safe, clean, and efficient maintenance environment
