Shift Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours/week) As an exempt position, additional hours may be needed to meet departmental needs Job Summary The University of Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Director of Parking Allocations & Supply Management to provide operational leadership for parking supply, allocation management, and data-driven planning for UK Transportation Services. Reporting to the Associate Director for Parking Policy & Operations, this position is responsible for overseeing parking supply and utilization, executing allocation strategies, and ensuring parking resources are aligned with institutional priorities, campus growth, and evolving transportation needs. What You Will Do Lead the operational management of campus parking inventory, allocations, and supply utilization strategies Direct parking allocation processes and make data-informed decisions regarding allocation adjustments and resource distribution Oversee parking occupancy monitoring, utilization analysis, and demand forecasting to optimize parking resources Lead the implementation and management of technology solutions related to occupancy monitoring, inventory tracking, and parking analytics Provide recommendations to support parking policy development, operational planning, and future capital investments Collaborate with university leadership and campus stakeholders to assess and address parking impacts associated with construction projects, special events, and campus growth initiatives Ensure the accuracy and integrity of parking inventory, allocation data, and utilization reporting Represent Transportation Services in cross-functional planning efforts and stakeholder discussions related to parking and transportation resource management Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, technology utilization, and service delivery What You Will Bring Experience leading parking operations, transportation services, resource allocation, facilities operations, or related programs Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex operational challenges and competing priorities Demonstrated experience using data analytics and performance metrics to drive operational improvements and strategic planning Experience managing inventory, allocation systems, utilization analysis, or resource planning functions Knowledge of parking management technologies, occupancy monitoring systems, business intelligence tools, or related operational technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with experience collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups Experience developing reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for leadership audiences Ability to lead change, implement new processes and technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and data-informed decision-making What Is in It for You Strategic leadership: Shape how parking resources are allocated, managed, and planned across a dynamic and growing campus environment Campus-wide impact: Influence decisions that directly affect students, employees, patients, visitors, and university operations Innovation and technology: Lead initiatives that leverage technology and analytics to improve parking operations and resource management Collaborative leadership: Partner with university leaders, campus stakeholders, and external partners on high-visibility initiatives Professional growth: Expand your expertise in operational leadership Why Now?
