Job Description

JL Management Group, LLC is hiring a Fleet & Transportation Coordinator to support two established Western Kentucky design firms — RBS Design Group and RJA Engineering . You will drive the firms' executives and design professionals to project sites, client meetings, airports, and conferences in a Sprinter Van equipped as a mobile office, and between trips you will manage keeping an approximately 22-vehicle company fleet maintained, documented, and road-ready. This is a role for a dependable, safety-minded professional who takes pride in being on time, keeps what they hear confidential, and likes a week that mixes the open road with hands-on coordination work. What You'll Do Drive executives, architects, engineers, surveyors, and project managers to project sites, client meetings, airports, and conferences — primarily in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van Plan routes and timing for dependable, on-time arrivals — safe driving always comes before the schedule Keep the Sprinter a quiet, professional mobile office so passengers can work while they travel Coordinate maintenance, service records, registrations, and inspections for roughly 22 company vehicles Keep vehicles clean, fueled, organized, and trip-ready, and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns Provide light facility support between driving days (light bulbs, HVAC filters, deliveries, moving supplies) Schedule Full-time, hourly (non-exempt), with overtime paid in accordance with applicable law A typical week includes two to three significant driving days; travel days can involve six to eight hours of driving Requires real schedule flexibility: early departures, late returns, occasional overnight travel, and periodic weekend work What You'll Need Valid driver's license with a motor-vehicle record acceptable under our driver-eligibility standards and automobile insurance requirements High school diploma or equivalent Comfort driving a full-size van for extended periods Punctuality, dependability, and strict confidentiality regarding the conversations and information you encounter Comfort with GPS/navigation apps, smartphones or tablets, email, and basic recordkeeping Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor-vehicle record review Nice to Have Professional, executive, shuttle, or other safety-sensitive driving experience Experience coordinating fleet maintenance, service records, or inspections Working knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance Basic facility-maintenance or handyman skills Familiarity with Western Kentucky and regional travel routes Physical Demands Prolonged sitting and driving (up to six to eight hours on travel days); frequent entering and exiting of vehicles; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing step ladders for light maintenance tasks; occasional lifting of up to about 50 pounds — with or without reasonable accommodation. Our Commitment to Safety Safe vehicle operation takes precedence over on-time arrival — always. Drivers are expected to report fatigue or any other condition that could impair safe driving, and no one will be required to continue driving when doing so would be unsafe. Benefits
