Job Description
A growing trucking company in Somerset, KY is looking to add an additional Driver Manager to its staff. This individual must have experience and knowledge of DOT regulations including hours of service and applicable laws. This is a Monday-Friday position with an occasional weekend day (1-2/year) to help cover for holidays or vacations. Once trained, you will manage 30+ drivers, helping them with issues, covering their work assignments, following up with Safety conversations and managing their overall work load for the week. The successful candidate will have the following traits; Patience to talk through issues. Ability to resolve problems without help from others. Be organized and able to focus on multiple projects at the same time. Understand computer systems and be able to use Microsoft Office. Have thorough knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA rules.
